On September 23, to celebrate the successful marketing of the self-developed bivalent cervical cancer vaccine (HPV2 vaccine) Walrinvax^®, Shanghai Zerun Biotechnology Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of Walvax Biotechnology, held an HPV2 vaccine launch event on the cruise ship “Junzi Orchid” on the Huangpu River, echoing the headquarters of Walvax Biotechnology in Kunming, Yunnan Province and the venue of Yuxi Zerun in Yuxi, Yunnan Province.

Mr. Li Yunchun, Chairman of Walvax, Mr. Huang Zhen, Vice Chairman of Walvax, and Professor Jiang Runsheng, President of Walvax and Chairman of Zerun Biotech, delivered enthusiastic speeches at the Kunming, Yuxi and Shanghai venues, respectively, congratulating the product launch, which provides a powerful weapon to protect women of appropriate age against cervical cancer, and thanking all current and former employees who contributed to the product development and launch. Mr. Qu Song, President of Wison Group, and Dr. Shi Li, former CEO of Zerun Biotech, also expressed their warm congratulations via audio and video. The sincere and moving words of Ms. Cui Zhiying, Vice President of Zerun Biotech, and the staff representatives not only made everyone feel the difficulties in the process of independent research and development, but also let everyone experience the pride from their heart. After the speeches, President Jiang Runsheng, Mr. Zhang Jiankang and Ms. Cui Zhiying opened the champagne together to celebrate the birth of “Walrinvax^®” with all the participants in the room and other venues.

As the “Junzi Orchid” cruised along the Huangpu River at night, everyone enjoyed the melodious music, raised a glass to celebrate and talked about the future.
